There is something fascinating and almost unsettling
about family ties: we share the same blood,
yet we are all different.
This personal project explores the family
not as a static structure,
but as a living fabric in constant evolution.
The blood that connects us to our ancestors
is a thread that is woven, intertwined,
and transformed through the generations.
Just as in the art of crochet,
each new stitch depends on the previous one
while creating something unique.
A look passed down from
grandmother to granddaughter.
Hands that resemble one another
but tell the stories of contrasting lives.
DNA connects us, but
history, geography, choices,
and fate set us apart.
ps: it was the first photoshoot ever of
my sister and my cousin!
